Canstaff is actively recruiting throughout the year for various positions within the manufacturing industry, such as:

  • General laborers
  • Assembly line workers
  • Order pickers with or without a license

How to register

Visit our office at 186 Shorting Road Monday to Friday from 9 am to 4 pm with the following documents in ORIGINAL:

  • 2 pieces of ID (Passport, driver’s license, photo ID, Refugee ID, or Permanent Resident Card)
  • Proof of SIN
  • Open Work permit (If applicable)
  • Licences relevant to the position you are applying for (forklift, work in heights, health and safety, etc.)


Be prepared to be interviewed for 5-10 minutes regarding your experience.

Registration takes between 15 to 30 minutes and no appointment is required.

Are you preparing to apply for temporary employment? Here are some tips to enhance your job search experience:

  • Identify the type of jobs you would like to apply for and register with the agencies and employers that provide that job. A bit of research may save you time
  • Before visiting a prospective employer, call and ask what documentation you need to provide. Being ready to provide certifications, IDs, and other relevant documents will make your application more complete
  • Tailor your resume to highlight relevant skills and experiences that match the job requirements. Use concise language and bullet points to showcase your accomplishments. Ensure the resume meets the standards of the country or province where you are applying for jobs. For example, personal information such as married status, age, or a photo should is never requested in Canada.
  • Interview Preparation: Research the employer and the industry it serves. Practice common interview questions and prepare examples to demonstrate your skills and suitability for temporary roles. Dress professionally and arrive punctually for interviews.
  • If your language level in English or French is not advanced, do not worry, just practice. Having an intermediate level in which you can communicate will be useful to start. With time and practice, you will get better.
